NEW GRANTS AND COLLABORATIONS
Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action has received a grant to provide up to $40,000 to renovate 10 houses in Johnston County for low-income families. We also received a Housing Preservation Grant to provide urgent repairs for 19 homes in Johnston and Harnett Counties.
Head Start is collaborating with More at Four in Johnston and Lee Counties. There are 54 dually enrolled children at Goldston Boulevard and Linden Avenue in Sanford and 9 dually enrolled children at Cleveland and River Dell. There are 18 dually enrolled children at Princeton and Smithfield, for a total of 54 in Johnston co.
